New Head Coach Appointed
I am pleased to announce that Enderby SC have appointed Martin Thompson as their new Head Coach following Annette
Willett’s forthcoming departure to take up her new role as the County Development Coach for Leicestershire.
On behalf of all the members of Enderby
SC I would like to thank Annette for all her hard work and success over the last
two years whilst she has been our Head Coach. I would also like to wish her continued success in her new role and we look
forward to working with her as she takes on a countywide role of developing swimming talent in Leicestershire.
Martin Thompson needs little introduction from me, but again on behalf of
all our members I welcome him into the demanding and challenging role of Enderby
SC Head Coach . I know Martin is keen to get fully into his new role and to introduce
some new initiatives to build on the good work that Annette has already done.
Martin will assume his new role with immediate effect and Annette will assist him until
she finally steps down after our final Diddy Gala of the year on June 28th.
I hope you will all join me in supporting Annette and Martin as we prepare for the next
exciting phase in the continuing growth and development of Enderby SC.

Enderby SC March On!
Continuing the success in the Winter League our Juniors and Seniors combined to obtain 5 Gold, 11 Silver,
and 21 Bronze medals at the Leicestershire Age Groups. Added to this 8 Midland Qualifying Times were achieved. Also there
were too many PB's to count!
All swimmers must be congratulated on their achievements.

What A Result!
Leicester Winter League 1.3.08 Results
Only two galas and we won them both!!!
This was a great effort by both teams.
Added to this the A team won Division 2 and go up to Division 1 as Champions.
A huge thankyou to all swimmers, coaches, helpers and parents for their efforts to obtain this achievement.
Leicester Winter League 9.2.08
Congratulations to the A team on winning the gala. They are now thorough to the FINAL on the 1.3.2008. Could all swimmers
ensure they are availiable for the final or if they know already they cannot swim advise the Head Coach immeadiately.
Aslo could all swimmers wear the club shirts and hats at the gala.
Leicester Winter League 12.01.08
Congratulations to the A Team who won their gala and obtained 33 first , 9 second and 6 third places. The lowest
position being 3rd place.
This was an outstanding performance.
The B team came 5th in their gala but should be congratulated as many of the younger swimmers found themselves having
to swim up in age.
League Gala Dates
Nuneaton Diddy 12 Apr 2008 10th May 2008 28 June. Final 13th Sept 2008 (Nuneaton diddy for 9,10,11,12 yr olds. Age as
of 13.9.08.)
Please try to be availiable on these dates as we need to put our best teams in these galas. If you are unavailiable please
let the team selector know immeadiately by speaking to them or by e mail. Do not simply
cross off your name on the team lists.
Coaches and Committee meetings for the rest of this year always held on a Monday at 1900 in the spectator area near to
the pool. All welcome.
